Who we are – why sponsor us
Learn Active is a registered charity that offers outdoor education opportunities to people with intellectual disabilities aged 15 years and above.
We provide a compassionate space for our people, in which they develop personal and interpersonal skills through regular and ongoing outdoor activity programmes.

Our Programmes
Our programmes are for those who want to get active, build relationships and learn new skills, as we build confidence in the outdoor environment.
We are based in Cashmere, Christchurch and head out all over Canterbury.
We offer full day programmes, year round to up to 50 people each term.
Our term themes are: water, bush, rope and hike based activities.
We run three main programmes that offer various outdoor activities and skill building for a range of abilities.
